Arizer V-Tower Vaporizer Review: Breakdown

Build Quality

Build Quality

The V-Tower is made of high quality components. It has a pure heating bowl made of glass-coated ceramic which is housed in a two-layer aluminum chassis. This housing keeps the exterior of the unit cool while the heating chamber works away inside. The cyclone bowl is made of high quality glass and has an insulated rubberized grip so you can handle it before the whole bowl has cooled down. This bowl stands up and enables vertical airflow through your botanical. This is an ideal setup that allows for efficient convection heating.

If you’re a bit of a butterfingers like we sometimes are, the manufacturer has a modified cyclone bowl called the “Tuff Bowl”. This uses a heat-resistant silicone tubing to provide some drop protection to the bowl, which can be quite fragile. We wish every vaporizer with glass parts had a “Tuff” option, because after a great vape session sometimes being delicate with our glass pieces takes back seat to having fun!

Vapor Quality

Temperature control with the V-Tower is amazing for such an affordable unit. It sports a digital LED display that allows you to control your temperature down to the degree. This is an important feature for vapor experts who want to release essential oils at specific temperatures. The heating element on the vaporizer acts quickly, and reaches your desired temperature in a couple of minutes.

Beyond its super accurate temperature control, the unit has an awesome range of temperatures. It reaches up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit (260 degrees Celsius). We can’t say how great this is, especially for someone coming to the world of vaporizers from a smoking background. For these people, thin and wispy vapor can be unsatisfying or downright frustrating. You certainly won’t get wispy vapor at the highest temperatures with this unit! At temperatures of 240 degrees Celsius or higher you get a really satisfying and abundant vapor.

Look and Feel

The V-Tower looks and feels like a premium unit despite its humble price. It sits very sturdily on a table, and its aluminum chassis makes it very robust. It’s quite attractive too – its classy LED display glows a cool blue, and there is a blue aura around the base of the unit.

Ease of Use

This is one of the simplest units we’ve ever reviewed. Loading the cyclone bowl is extremely simple and so is cleaning it. After a session your botanical will be so dry that it just pours out of the cyclone bowl like dry cereal. Some flakes may stick to the inside of the bowl, but you can brush these away with your finger. Since you can dump your already been vaped (ABV) botanical out of the bowl so easily, this is a good unit to help you get in the habit of saving your ABV. It’s wasteful to just throw it away, but for some units that are harder to clean we can see how you would just toss it. For the V-Tower we keep a jar next to our desk and dump the ABV in there. You’ll always have it there, and when you collect enough you can cook with it!

This vaporizer  is modest and doesn’t offer many options. It sticks to what it does best – providing excellent vapor through a whip system. It does have the option of vaporizing either dry botanical or concentrates though, which is a lovely feature. There are no liquid pads for the unit, but you can apply some oils or wax onto a bed of botanical. This will prevent the oil from dripping through to the heating chamber and potentially causing damage. This unit is ideal for concentrates, as its high temperature ranges would vaporize them thoroughly.

Because the unit doesn’t offer much in the way of options, the reach of the unit isn’t very far when it comes to people using the unit simultaneously. That being said, the heating chamber can hold a good amount of botanical and could easily vaporize for 4 people without a problem. This means that the reach is average for a stationary unit. If you’re looking for a unit that has more reach, it’s bigger brother, the Extreme Q would be a better choice as it has the ability to use balloons which greatly improves the unit’s reach.

Compatible with ZEUS Iceborn
This vaporizer is compatible with the ZEUS Iceborn, a revolutionary new vapor cooling system engineered by Canadian vape manufacturer ZEUSArsenal. The Iceborn is designed to produce cooler draws and bigger clouds when connected to your vaporizer. The vapour produced is ultra smooth and crisp and because of ice cooling, instead of water filtration, there is no loss of efficiency. The ZEUS Iceborn adds an additional 2 points to the vapor quality score of this vaporizer and is a highly recommended vaporizer accessory.

All in all, the V-Tower is one of our favourite units. The value you get for the money is spectacular, and we just love the range of temperatures this unit can reach. The manufacturing quality and design of the unit are excellent, as we expect from Arizer. If you need a simple whip-style vaporizer don’t look any further than the V-Tower!

You can purchase this incredible value vaporizer here tax free and also choose to receive a free gift with purchase too!

We also wanted to suggest you check out a cool, new the vapor filtration device, called the ZEUS Iceborn that makes a great addition to the V Tower. We recently reviewed it and were blown away by how it cools down even some of the hottest vapour with ice, bumping up its vapor quality by 2 points! The Iceborn is also much more efficient than filtering your vapor with a bong, and allows you to blow massive frosty clouds. You can read our review of the Iceborn here!
