There are a lot of difference between the original Breeze and the new Aspire Breeze 2 but the one thing that is most noticeable is the design. The original Breeze has a very sleek and simple design but the Aspire Breeze 2, although it is still has that sleek and compact form factor, it is slightly bigger than the original Breeze.

From one glance, you will notice that the whole pod is now showing on the device compared to the original Breeze which has the pod hidden in the device. Since the whole pod is now sitting on the top of the Breeze 2, the tank is also above the device unit instead of being inside like on the original Breeze.

The Aspire Breeze 2 still has the protective top cap and the same mouthpiece that we saw in its predecessor and it still has the fire button on the front. You will also notice that the Aspire Breeze 2 has two new buttons on the side.

These are the very convenient release buttons for the pod if ever you need to refill it with e liquid or replace the coil head. Changing the coil head and refilling the tank has never been easier with the Aspire Breeze 2’s new pod system.

To replace the coil head, you just have to remove the protective cap and the mouthpiece, then unscrew the coil head adapter and screw the coil head with the adapter in the pod. The coil head adapter also serves as the adjustable airflow control which is pretty cool since most pod style vaporizers doesn’t have this kind of feature.

To refill the pod with e liquid, just remove the rubber seal on the bottom of the pod and you will see a fairly large 3 mm fill hole that can accommodate any bottle or dripper you want to use. The Aspire Breeze 2 now has a battery capacity of 1000 mah which is so much better compared to the original Breeze’s 650 mah capacity.

You can charge the device through the micro USB port on the side and it still has a maximum charging output of 800 mA. Unfortunately, they removed the capability of charging it through a dock which is a very nice feature of the original Breeze.

The Aspire Breeze 2 has two battery LED indicator that will shine through the pod and will show you the remaining battery life. It will light blue and orange if it still has above 3.8 volts, it will light blue if it is between 3.8 and 3.5 volts, and it will light orange if you need to charge it.

The Aspire Breeze 2 comes in 4 different color options and you can get it in black, red, gray and blue.

The Aspire Breeze 2 kit comes with 2 coil heads. The first coil head has a resistance of 0.6 ohm and the other included has a 1.0 ohm resistance. The Aspire Breeze 2 is not your typical pod style vaporizer. It doesn’t just support one type of vaping style just like most pod style vaporizers on the market.

The 0.6 ohm coil head is for those who want the sub ohm vaping experience which produces more clouds and strong flavor. This coil head can be greatly complemented by setting the airflow control wide open for that open draw vaping style.

The 1.0 ohm coil head is perfect for the mouth to lung vaping fans. This coil head is greatly optimized for salt based e-liquids or other high concentration e-liquids. You can also set your airflow control to as close as it can be for the perfect mouth to lung vaping experience.

The cool thing about Aspire is that they made the Breeze 2 compatible with the original Breeze coil heads, unlike some vape companies that make brand new coil heads for every new product they release.

This means that you can still use the 1.2 ohm coil head from the original Breeze on your new Breeze 2 if you want a higher resistance coil. The pod of Breeze 2 is completely separate from the unit so you can now clean the whole pod especially the tank with ease.

Pod style vaporizers are the most compact and sleekest device on the market and the Aspire Breeze 2 is no exception. It is only 96 mm in height, 35 mm in width and 19 mm in thickness which makes it a perfect grab and go device.

The protective cap is also a bonus since you can just store it in your bag or put it in your pocket without worrying of leaks and dirt.

Aspire has done it again with another great pod style vaporizer. Many vapers love the original Breeze and with the new Breeze 2, I’m pretty sure they’ll upgrade right away due to its higher battery capacity, convenient pod system design and coil head compatibility. If you are a newbie looking for your first device into the vaping world, you can’t go wrong with the Aspire Breeze 2. It has all you need to help you quit smoking cigarettes and features that even advanced vapers will love.
