Aspire is known for their mods’ great build quality and design and has garnered a massive fan base because they are consistent with their quality. Today we will take a look at the Aspire Skystar Revvo kit and what I can say is this is one of the mods and atomizers they have put out that screams quality. The Aspire Skystar mod is, in my opinion, their finest creation and looks like a top of the line mod and the Revvo tank atomizer is very revolutionary, it has been the talk of the town ever since it was released.

The Aspire Skystar Revvo kit comes in 5 different matching color options. You can get it in slate blue, black carbon fiber, white, woodgrain effect and blue camo. The overall design is very classy and all the color options make it so elegant that you would think the Skystar mod is perfect when you are in a suit. The body is super ergonomic as it has no sharp edges and holding it in the hand feels good and natural.

On the front, you will see the somewhat hidden fire button and the 1.3-inch touchscreen display which looks very seamless. Below the touchscreen display is the micro USB port for charging and for a potential firmware upgrade and on the back is a magnetic battery door that holds two 18650 batteries.

There is no up and down buttons on the Aspire Skystar mod because all the settings, modes and adjustments are accessible through the touchscreen display. The Aspire Skystar mod has a maximum output of 210 watts and supports everything an advanced vaper needs like variable wattage, variable voltage, temperature control, TCR and power curve.

The kit includes the revolutionary atomizer, the Aspire Revvo tank. The Revvo tank has a diameter of 24 mm that features triple adjustable top airflow and has 2 variant. The standard variant has an e-liquid capacity of 3.6 ml and a TPD compliant variant that has an e-liquid capacity of 2 ml. The first revolutionary part of the Revvo tank is its spring-loaded top filling system.

The way it works is it has a spring loaded filling tube in the middle that is accessible from the drip tip and you can directly fill the tank by pushing it with the tip of your bottle. It is a very convenient way of filling the tank with e-liquid and how Aspire designed it is so innovative as the spring of the tube is soft enough to allow even the slight pressure from almost any type of bottle or dripper, but strong enough to create a seal to make it leak free.

The second revolutionary part of the Revvo tank is the Aspire Radial Coil or the ARC coil. The ARC coil is made of kanthal and has a resistance of 0.10 ohm to 0.16 ohm. It is rated to use between 50 watts to 100 watts and is highly recommended at 80 watts to 85 watts. The way Aspire designed this coil is it sits horizontally in the tank and it looks very much like a stove-top.

I have never seen a type of coil like this before and it is pretty interesting how they managed to make it work. One of the benefits of having a coil design like this is it will have a wider surface area for the e liquid to be vaporized and the second benefit is you will get a better overall flavor and vapor production out of it.

The only downside of using this coil is since it has such a low resistance, you will have to settle on higher wattages to fully optimize its flavor and vapor production. If you are not used to vaping on high wattages though, you can still vape it on lower wattages and make use of its wide heating area for a flavorful vape.

The Revvo tank features triple adjustable airflow and with the Skystar’s modes like temperature control, TCR and power curves, you will be able to further personalize your vaping experience.

Versatility

Versatility

The thing I like the most about the Skystar mod is its touchscreen display since you will be able to see your settings more clearly and it adds to its sexy appeal. Navigating through the menu and settings are snappy and I am very impressed by it since other mods with touch screen displays are laggy.

The only disappointment I have with the Revvo tank is it has a fixed top cap so you won’t be able to use any fancy 510 or 810 drip tips on it.

Portability

Portability

The Aspire Skystar Revvo is 136 mm in height, 50 mm in width and 33 mm in thickness. It is not the sleekest device out there but it is still a pocket-friendly device and you won’t have any problems carrying it around.

It is also a perfect device when traveling since you can avoid bringing a bulky battery charger as it has a micro USB charging support.

Conclusion

If you want a feature-packed mod in a classy and elegant body design then look no further as the Skystar mod fits all the description. Its snappy touchscreen display is so easy to navigate and adds to its overall appeal. The Revvo tank that comes with the kit is so revolutionary when it comes to its e-liquid filling system that we might see other atomizers like this in the future. The ARC coil is truly superior in flavor and vapor production and I hope they make a low wattage optimized version soon.
