If you remember the first iStick Pico, it was a widely popular vaporizer from Eleaf which was catered to the beginners or newbies not just for its simplicity but because of its features that also caters to the more advanced vapers, which can also help new vapers step up to the next level. The iStick Pico Baby didn’t deviate from its lineage, it is still a simple device catered to the newbies, but is somehow a step down from the original iStick Pico and is more of a downgraded and smaller version of the iStick Pico.

Build Quality

The iStick Pico Baby looks very much like the original iStick Pico and all the other iStick Pico variants that Eleaf had released. Although there are some small changes, even at a glance, you will immediately know that it is an iStick Pico. The body is still made of an anodized aluminum and still feels nice to grip thanks to the Pico’s ergonomic shape.

There are a few things missing though like the LED display screen and adjustment buttons. On the top, if you think that is still the familiar battery top cap, you guessed wrong, that is now the fire button that features a locking system which is very reminiscent of the old tube mods’ screwing lock mechanism back in the day.

It is still effective though since it can totally avoid unintentional presses when it is in your pocket or stored in a bag. Since the iStick Pico Baby is super small and compact, it now has a built-in battery with a capacity of 1050 mah. It has a maximum output of 25 watts and it can’t be adjusted.

Since it has no LED display screen, it has a small battery LED indicator that will tell you how much battery is left and it also has a micro USB port on the side for battery charging. The included tank in the kit is the GS Baby tank and it is primarily made of stainless steel.

It has a diameter of 16.5 mm and has an e liquid capacity of 2 ml. It features an adjustable airflow control and comes with 2 GS Air coil heads. The cool thing about the GS Baby tank is it has a magnetic adapter base on the bottom that smartly locks it in the iStick Pico Baby.

It makes the whole iStick Pico Baby super stealthy since the tank is recessed in the body of the mod. Another cool thing about the magnetic mechanism is that since it is just an adapter, you can use it on tanks that are 14 mm in diameter and it will fit in the iStick Pico Baby perfectly with the use of the o-ring that looks like a vape band that comes in the kit.

The iStick Pico Baby kit comes in 6 different color options and you can get it in green, silver, purple, red, blue and black. Just like all Eleaf products, the iStick Pico Baby has dual circuit protection that protects both the software and battery from over-charging, over-current and over-discharging.

The kit comes with two GS Air coil heads. Both have a resistance of 0.75 ohm and are rated to use between 8 watts to 25 watts. These coil heads are designed to deliver the purest flavor of your e liquid. It can’t produce dense and massive clouds but what you will get is clean flavor all the time.

The maximum output of the iStick Pico Baby is just 25 watts and with that power, I honestly think that using higher resistance coils will be much better than the included coil heads.

Higher nicotine e liquids might be better too, although some people might like how it vapes with e liquids on lower nicotine percentage, I personally prefer using anything higher than 3 mg of nicotine when vaping on this amount of power and resistance.

iStick Pico Baby mouth piece detached

The iStick Pico Baby is not a variable mod. You really can’t change how it vapes except the adjustable airflow feature of the GS Baby tank. It’s better than nothing though since you can set it to a tight and restrictive mouth to lung vape or as open as it can be if you want an airy drag.

The iStick Pico Baby has the word “baby” on it for a reason. It is only 75 mm in height, 41 mm in width and 23 mm in thickness. It is a super stealthy device which is perfect if you travel a lot and you want a small vaporizer you can store anywhere.

It is also good that the tank is recessed in the mod so it adds a little protection for your glass tank if it is in your pocket or bag.

iStick Pico Baby back side

The iStick Pico Baby is a perfect mod for those who are looking for an affordable starter kit. The vape quality you can get from this mod and tank is not bad considering that it only has a maximum output of 25 watts.

It is definitely not for the cloud maniacs out there but if you enjoy a clean and flavorful vape, then this is for you. This device is also perfect for those who are looking for a simple and super stealthy mod which you can bring anywhere due to its super small and compact size.
