As a vaping company that favors the newbies or beginners, I am pretty impressed with Eleaf and how they are managing to keep up with the latest trends in the vaping world. With today’s trend that is all about convenience and ease of use, many vapers are mostly into tanks and squonking since they provide the most convenience when it comes to vaping. The Pico Squeeze 2 is the fully upgraded version of the original Pico Squeeze as it is now a regulated mod instead of the original’s mechanical build. The design is also new and it comes with a redesigned version of the Coral atomizer, the Coral 2. The Eleaf Pico Squeeze 2 is a regulated mod now and when it comes to the design, it is still the same old pico body that everyone can recognize but they have to adjust some things like the buttons to accommodate the board and the screen display.

The Pico Squeeze 2 now has a 0.49 inch LED screen display on the front and the up and down buttons are placed just below it. Just like any other Pico device, it has the trademark battery cap on the top that can now support a single 18650 or a single 21700 battery. The squonk bottle is still on the same place and it has now a bigger e liquid capacity of 8 ml instead of the 6.5 ml on the original Pico Squeeze.

The fire button placement is questionable though, as it is placed on the back side of the mod, which for me, is a very odd place for a fire button and they could have placed it just right above the squonk opening, but I guess it could work if you just place your thumb correctly. The other thing they added that I have mixed feelings about is the LED feature that illuminates the squonk bottle.

Basically, what this does is it lights up the translucent color squonk bottle to add a glowing effect. It is kind of cool but it is an unnecessary feature for a squonk mod and most might just turn it off all the time. The Pico Squeeze 2 has a maximum power output of 100 watts and is capable of temperature control, memory mode and bypass mode.

It also has multiple safety features to prevent anything bad happening while you are vaping such as over-charging and over-discharging protection, over-current protection, short circuit protection and a 10-second cut-off feature. The kit also comes with a new version of the Coral atomizer that came with the previous Pico Squeeze, the Coral 2 atomizer.

The Coral 2 atomizer is made for single coil builds unlike the dual coil deck of the original Coral and it only has a single airflow slot, but it has an upgraded airflow system. The Pico Squeeze 2 kit comes in 5 different color options and you can get it in purple, red, black, silver and rainbow.

What Eleaf did to the new Coral 2 atomizer is very interesting. The whole build deck is redesigned and it can only support a single coil build now but the posts are on the side and they are slanted so you can fit bigger coils.

The cool thing is that they put an air channel on the side of the deck closer to the middle so that it will direct the airflow to the coil itself. Having the airflow closer to the coil means it will intensify your vaping experience since it will produce bigger clouds and better flavor.

One of the benefits of using a rebuildable atomizer is that you can use whatever coil you want. There are a lot of coils on the market but the most important thing is you have total control on what resistance you want on your coil build.

The Eleaf Pico Squeeze 2 is capable of firing coil resistances between 0.05 ohm to 3 ohms on wattage and bypass mode, and 0.05 ohm to 1.5 ohms on temperature control so you have a lot of room on your coil builds.

Another good thing with squonk mods like the Pico Squeeze 2 is that you can carry a bigger e liquid capacity than using a normal tank. This means you will spend less time refilling your atomizer once it is out of e liquid.

Although the Pico Squeeze 2 is slightly bigger than the original Pico Squeeze due to its larger battery support and additional components inside, it is still one of the most compact squonking mods on the market. Even with the Coral 2 atomizer installed, it is only 97 mm in height, 56 mm in width and 28 mm in thickness.

Squonk mods for me, are the best mods when you are out and about as you can almost not bring an e liquid bottle if you are just running an errand and having an 8 ml e liquid capacity on its bottle is a big plus.

The current demand for good squonk mods are increasing and I am very happy to see Eleaf releasing the new Pico Squeeze 2. It has all the good qualities of a Pico mod but tailored for squonk lovers and even if you are not a squonking fan, trust me when I say that squonking is a whole different vaping experience. I just hope that they put the fire button where it should be and not on the back side of the mod but aside from that, the Pico Squeeze 2 kit is an exceptional squonking kit.
