Flowermate Pure Hit V1 Review: Breakdown

Build Quality

Build Quality

The build quality of the Flowermate Pure Hit V1 is above average and the parts are made from durable materials. The device is mainly comprised of stainless steel and glass – so not cheap parts. In the package you will get 2 atomizers, not just one like most portable vaporizers. The one oven chamber is ceramic and the other is made with quartz. The one made of ceramic is to be used with dry herbs and the quartz triple rod/coil is for your waxes.

The build design for the Pure Hit allows you to remove the battery which is key for portability purposes and allows you to carry extra if need be. Not only does the battery come out, but you can run this vape with either a 18650 or a 26650 battery.

Vapor Quality

The vapor quality has it pros and cons with this model. The Pure Hit V1 in my opinion works best with concentrates and the water filtration just makes it that much better. As far as vaping dry herbs it does work well, but I found that it was a bit hot at times.

Granted I did use the device for multiple sessions in a row, so not only was the vapor getting hot but the unit itself was heating up in my hands a bit more than I would have liked. This really may only be an issue for some people and again only if you do back to back sessions.

The vapor quality can be adjusted to your liking by altering the temperature. If you prefer bigger quicker hits than use a higher temperature, and if you prefer more taste then set it lower and take longer draws. An area where this vaporizer does really well is at producing vapor clouds – with or without the water attachment.

Look and Feel

The Flowermate Pure Hit V1 is pretty big for a portable vaporizer, bigger than I was expecting. The package comes with a carrying bag to store it in which is a nice extra bonus. The device has some weight to it, it’s heavier than most portable vaporizers and definitely heavier than I’d say all vape pens.

The bubblers is the same circumference as the battery so it fits on and looks pretty good. The bubbler is a good size and can hold a good amount of water to filter the vapor. With the package you also get a packing tool and a funnel type loading component to make placing your dry herb in the chamber easier. The oven chambers have a feature where it actually changes color as it gets hot to help notify you in advance before you attempt to touch it with your hands.

The Pure Hit 1 is in my opinion one of the most discreet vaporizers for at least one main reason. Not only can you have it on a low temperature with water filtration, you can use e-liquid instead of water which will alter the vapor smell really well.

So if you are looking for a device that produces a very limited smell for use in perhaps an apartment that has a no smoking rule, this may pass the test for you.

Ease of Use

The Flowermate Pure Hit 1 is a unique device that is a bit different than other portable vaporizers but overall it is still simple to use. The extra water attachment, options to fill it with water or flavored e-juice and the external battery make it a bit different but once you do each of those once everything else is pretty much the usual.

The device turns on with 5 clicks of the power button, turns off by doing the same. You will use the ceramic chamber for concentrates and the quartz chamber for dry herbs – the device will automatically recognize which chamber is attached and will switch modes accordingly. You can adjust the temperature settings using the up and down buttons.

On a size note the Pure Hit V1 is pretty massive, it’s definitely not a pocket vape. Other than the size being a bit large though, the battery power that this unit boasts is very impressive. Not only is it a large battery which you can use either a 18650 or a 26650 battery they are also exchangeable so you can have extra’s.

If you are looking for a device that is more portable and can do both herbs and concentrates check out the Utillian 721.

The Flowermate Pure Hit V1 is quite the 2 in 1 vaporizer. If you are looking for something more than a typical dry herb vape or vape pen than this might be a good option for you. The water filtration is something that I really like to have with a vaporizer since my throat tends to get irritated easily.

My main complaint about this unit is the size, it’s a little bit big and really for either home use or stationary use once you get somewhere. I know the water filtration needs to take up space and also having such a big battery also needs space but it would be nice if all this could fit into a smaller design. Overall though I would have to say it’s an enjoyable vape that performs well and produces quality vapor.

If you are looking for a unit that will give you a rig like experience for waxes and water filtration for dry herb, we recommend checking out the Focusvape Tourist 2-in-1 vaporizer.
