iStick Pico 25 Kit Review: Breakdown

Build Quality

Build Quality

The body of this vape has been constructed from aluminum and acrylic plastic. This makes it a little lighter than the full aluminum of the original iStick Pico.  The sizing on this vape is much smaller and the curved button might become an issue to some of you.

In the box, you will find 2 coils. The first coil is the stainless steel single cylinder, .2ohm coil and the second one is a kanthal dual cylinder .3ohm coil, which should be ideal for those experienced and advanced vapers.

One of the downsides to the build quality is the fact that the plus and minus buttons do tend to rattle a little bit. This can only be noticed if you are really shaking it vigorously, but if you are like me and you love to play with the vape, this could become somewhat irritating.

Those of you who have experience with new vapes might find the durability a little lackluster. The small size should comfortably fit inside your hands, but since it is not fully aluminum, it might fall and crack. The design is quite impressive though.

Vapor Quality

The mod might be really small, but the cloud size is quite decent. Compared to some of the larger vapes, this vape will offer you great cloud sizes at an affordable price. Since the maximum wattage output is 85 watts, you should have no problems in terms of burning through juice. The included coils will change the type of vapor you will get from the ELLO tank, the single cylinder coil is geared towards large clouds, but will have less flavor. The dual cylinder coil is for flavor lovers but won’t produce as large of a cloud.

Everything can be manually adjusted on this vape, with the maximum temperature going up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. If you are a control freak, even the temperature control system can easily be reached with three clicks on the power button and it is also compatible with other coils like the Nickel, Titanium and stainless steel coils.

The tank included is the new Ello tank and you will have a wider drip tip. Many people prefer the 5/10 drip tip, but the current broader one is still ideal. 2 tanks are included in the main packaging, with the first tank being 2ml and the second being 4ml. If you are going out or for some reason need more E-juice, you can easily replace this with the 4ml tank.

Much like the iStick 75W, the Pico 25 will save you on coils and reduce voltage and cut power when you are exceeding your chosen temperature, saving you a lot of money in the long term.

This vape really sets the pace in versatility and you have several options to choose from. These are wattage, bypass, and temperature control for the different coils. This bypass feature will act like a mech mod firing the full capable voltage of the device. We really do not recommend this option for anyone but the most experience vapers as batteries and coiled are pushed to their max.

The mod features most of the same modes and control features that you will find in those original E-Leaf mods. If you have owned an E-Leaf vape, you should not feel daunted at all by the different clicks that it takes to navigate the main screen. In the packaging, you will also receive an instruction guide to simplify the process for you.

As we have already mentioned, this vape is quite small, but it packs a decent punch. When compared to the original aluminum E-Leaf vape, this vape is a little smaller and this might be ideal for those putting them in their pockets. The largest part of this vape certainly is the battery. The batteries might die after prolonged use and we would highly recommend that you try and buy a couple of extras to keep you vaping as much as possible.

The E-Leaf Pico 25 with Ello kit is one of the new and top vapes that you could choose. This vape is actually really affordable and it provides a vapor cloud that is comparable to some of the other top and more expensive mods. Vaping at the maximum 85-watts will definitely rip through battery power, but if you vape on 60 watts, 2 batteries should last you the entire day. However not enough has changed for us to recommend this unit over the original Pico. If you are looking to up the wattage  we suggest checking out the Coolfire iV 100W.
