Joyetech EVic VTWo Full Kit Review: Breakdown

Build Quality

Build Quality

In our review of the eVic VT, we noted that it was very well built and featured a great design. Almost nothing has changed.

The design and appearance are still some of the best features. Many people loved the color options that looked like sports car finishes, and they’re still available. On top of that, there are 5 additional solid color options as well.

The battery is still an internal 5000mAh powerhouse, but there is a big improvement to the internal design that will help protect the battery while it’s charging or being used. Instead of just one protection circuit, there are now two. This should help keep the battery working longer and increase the reliability of the unit as a whole.

Finally, while the menu is different, navigating it is still a bit difficult the first time you use it. This is especially true for people coming from simple, one-button designs. This has a thumb wheel for scrolling and changing settings, and the vast amount of output modes and display options can be overwhelming at first. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes much easier.

New display options include a real time clock, as well as a custom logo. The clock could potentially be useful in some situations, but the logo feature is definitely the most pointless upgrade that was made. I just don’t get the appeal, but it’s there if you want it.

Vapor Quality

The included Cubis tank when it is working properly provides users with exceptionally smooth and flavorful vapor. The only issue is this tank has a nasty habit of spitting hot juice into your mouth which is never pleasant.

This can usually be avoided by priming the coil properly, but even after doing so we did have some noticeable spitback issues. When the juice is flowing properly though we really enjoyed the flavor from this tank.

Wattage output ranges from single digits all the way up to 80 watts, and you get full temperature control from 200-600˚F.

It also excels at subohm vaping, so huge clouds are just a draw away. In short, the VTwo will allow you to customize your experience to get the exact type of vapor that you love.

Joyetech EVic VTWo Atomizer

This is just about as versatile of a mod as you are going to find right now. Let’s go over some of the options that you’ll have at your disposal…

First, the output modes include variable wattage, variable temperature for titanium, variable temperature for nickel, variable temperature for stainless steel, a bypass mode, and three TCR modes for advanced users.

The temperature range is 200-600˚F, or 100-315℃. The output wattage ranges from 1W to 80W. For the variable temperature modes, the resistance range is 0.05 to 1.0ohm, and for the variable wattage and bypass modes its 0.15 to 3.5ohm.

All of this should satisfy even the most discerning owners. You’ll be able to use just about any type of coil or atomizer that you want and get awesome results in the process.

The biggest factor in favor of the VTwo’s portability is the battery size. While your battery life will ultimately depend on a whole range of factors like power settings and frequency of use, a big battery like this will last longer than most other mods.

Other than that, this really is no more or less portable than other mods of a similar size. The shape is similar, the weight is just a bit heavier thanks to the battery size, and it’s pretty easy to carry.

If portability is your number one concern, then you probably want to look at mini mods like the iSitck Pico.

Despite similar appearances, the newest model in Joyetech’s eVic lineup is definitely an improvement over previous options. The best additions that the eVic VTwo boasts are the additional wattage, improved circuitry, and upgradeable firmware.

We do wish the Cubis tank didn’t have so many issues with spit back because we really did love the vapor we got from it when it was functioning properly and maybe this is just an isolated issue with our unit.

If you are in the market for a new mod, then this is definitely worth considering. Its versatile enough to do just about anything you throw at it, and easy. You can grab one from, they have free shipping over $100 and a large selection of e-juices.

If you own the VT and get a chance to try the VTwo, make sure to come back and leave a comment. What did you think of the improvements and is it worth it to upgrade?
