Weeper XL Water Bubbler Kit Review: Breakdown

Build Quality

Build Quality

First lets quickly touch on the build quality of the Weeper XL water bubbler components. The overall manufacturing quality of this device is about industry average (not great, not terrible), it reflects the price of the unit for sure. The battery is a pretty basic one that delivers about 3.7v to the coils for up to 20 seconds.

The kit includes a 650mAh battery, two dual quartz rod and titanium coil atomizers, the USB charger, a silicone wax container, a dabbing tool, and the Weeper XL glass bubbler attachment.

The glass is hand blown which is a nice touch, but when dealing with custom blown glass like this you do need to be careful. The rod and coil are also average build and is the same materials you will find in almost all medium/low end devices.

Vapor Quality

Vapor quality is a hard point to touch on with water filtration devices because there are two things that go against vapor with these devices. First the point of using a vaporizer is to greatly limit the amount of clouds and harmful chemicals that enter into your body and second is the water filtration which does the exact same thing.

What’s left over after vaping and filtering through water is suppose to be minimal visible vapor and a nice smooth draw while still feeling the effect of your material. Having said this the vapor quality is decent for this little device and the hits are indeed smooth. The actual vapor production that the Ooze Weeper XL produces is actually pretty decent and is an area where this unit excels. The capped atomizer does a good job at delivering nice size draws.

The overall flavor that you get from the Weeper XL is again about average, if you are used to using a torch still you may enjoy the flavor from this unit, but if you have already been using other wax concentrate devices like the Thunder 2 that are above average then you may not find the flavor profile to be that great with the Weeper.

Ooze Weeper XL Atomizer and Water Filter

Look and Feel

The device looks pretty neat, not your typical clear glass one color vaporizer. If you know of the Ooze brand you can easily pick out one of their devices in a lineup of vaporizers.

The who kit holds itself together well and when you have it in your hand it has good weight and an overall good feel.

The Weeper XL does not boast any flexibility in the temperature at all, the only way to adjust the size of your hits is by length and by feathering the fire button a bit.

If you are getting this curvy glass water bubbler I imagine discretion is not your biggest concern and that you’re getting this more for home use, novelty, show boating purposes.

Ease of Use

The Weeper XL is simple to use and there is nothing really confusing about it. The device uses the one button operation where you click it 5 times to power it on and 5 times to power it off. The atomizer twist into place and the bubbler sits in place nicely.

The unit has no settings that you can choose and to power it you press and hold the button for up to 20 seconds. You should let Weeper have a bit of a break after one or two uses to not overheat the battery. The only other thing you need to do is fill the bubbler with water which is also pretty straight forward.

The Weeper is a portable device because there are no cords that require it to be attached to a wall. Having said this the unit does have a mediocre battery that will not last as long as many of the higher class devices on the market. The Weeper also consists of glass components which need to be transported in a more secure manner.

The Weeper is by no means a pocket vaporizer but it is portable to the extent that you can pack up the whole kit and bring it somewhere to use where there is no electricity or power supply.

The Weeper is designed for quick sessions and shuts down after holding the power button for 20 seconds as a safety feature. With only having quick sessions it will depend on how many sessions you have in a day which will device how many days or if it will last a full day under your usage.

Overall my final thoughts are pretty much exactly what they were before even using this device. I assumed that it would be an enjoyable little water filtration wax device and that would simply get the job done and i t did this pretty good. The build quality is average, the flavor is nothing to write home about, the draws were pretty smooth and it did produce a good amount of visible vapor even with the water filtration.

All things considered and with the low price point and the fact that the glass piece is hand blown you are getting a pretty good deal. If you spend a bit of time looking as you will see by browsing our site here you will find very similar devices that cost about the same that outperform this Weeper XL.

If you are looking for another unit that will give you a rig like experience for waxes and water filtration for dry herb, we recommend checking out the Focusvape Tourist 2-in-1 vaporizer.
