Manufacturer AirisTech created a vaporizer different from any on the market today. Moreover, they did it without increasing their prices to an astronomical level. Quartz Authority Headbanger Review: Breakdown

Build Quality

Build Quality

This vaporizer wasn’t named the Quartz Authority for nothin’! AirisTech included a variety of different accessories and parts made out of quartz. These include the coils and storage container. The atomizer cover is magnetic, making it extremely convenient to switch between dabbing and dipping. This comes in handy when you want to mimic actual headbanging!

The construction is a durable aluminum, so you don’t have to worry too much about damaging the unit itself. Unfortunately, we felt as though the internal parts weren’t as high quality as the exterior. Even though the coils are heated and ready to go quickly, the battery is a measly 1500mAh Lithium-ion. Although it will last a couple of days without recharging, we would like to have seen a removable battery or a longer battery life.

Vapor Quality

The coils used in the Quartz Authority Headbanger are referred to as C1 and C2. C1 is for dipping, while C2 is for dabbing. Both are made out of fritted glass quartz to increase the surface area. The result is a greater amount and absorption of vapor.

The temperature also affects vapor quality. The Headbanger comes with 3 different voltage levels: 3.4, 3.7, and 4.0. For the cost, this selection is rare. We were impressed by the fact that AirisTech didn’t just go with 1!

The optional spill-proof bubbler gives the added bonus of water filtration for a smoother inhale. The clouds come out much cooler and purer. If you are concerned about the effect of vapor on your lungs, this adds an extra layer of protection.

look-and-feel

Look and Feel

The look of the Quartz Authority Headbanger is a little strange. It’s like a wide eCig box with a beaker tube-like bubbler insert. However, it feels like a secure little structure despite the glass insert.

Always be extra careful with glass parts. Unless you want to have to purchase a new bubbler piece!

Discreetness

Discreetness

If you are looking for a discrete unit, we recommend you look elsewhere. The Quartz Authority Headbanger isn’t exactly easy to hide.

That goes double in nectar collecting mode! You can take this vape out and about, but it is so large it will draw attention.

Ease of Use

Although the Headbanger gives you choices, they are all easy to learn. Whether or not you have used a nector collector or a dab pen in the past, you will figure it out in no time!

To turn the vape on, click the only button on the unit 5 times. This also turns the Quartz Authority off. To adjust the temperatures, click the button 3 times. To know which temperature you’ve toggled to, the manufacturer kindly color coded them. The 3.4V corresponds to green, 3.7V is blue, and 4.0V is represented by red.

However, before you do all of that, you need to decide how you want to take your draws!

If you choose to dip, put the nectar collector coil on the bottom of the unit. Then, attach the bubbler if you are interested in that option. Want to dab? Simply put the dab coil on! Screw it in, then attach the bubbler. No matter what combination you choose, you only have to wait a few seconds for the device to heat up.

Portability

Portability

The fact that a travel bag was included makes carrying around the Headbanger a breeze. The only thing breakable is the glass bubbler, and the bag reduces the need to worry.

Unfortunately, carrying the vaporizer without the bag is dangerous. This isn’t the best for on-the-go vapers.

Conclusion

Despite some flaws, we recommend this unique vaporizer to anyone that appreciates both dipping and dabbing. In fact, the low cost makes it affordable for just about all vapers interested in a decent quality, multi-use vape. If you are interested in discreet, on the go vaping, we would recommend you look elsewhere.
