Smok seems to be into our long and slithery friends when it comes to their design inspiration nowadays. This has become apparent when they made the new Smok H Priv 2 which is a direct successor to their ever so popular H Priv. The H Priv 2 still has the same body form and style but has a new look, the cobra skin pattern, which is in line with their current products. The H Priv 2 has a max output of 225 watts and is powered by dual 1650 batteries.

If you have seen Smok’s latest products, the design of the H Priv 2 is very familiar. The whole body of the H Priv 2 and the TFV12 Big Baby Prince tank has this cobra skin pattern that makes the whole mod look powerful and gives a strong and masculine vibe.

Aside from that, nothing much has been changed as Smok wants to continue their emphasis on aesthetics and utility when it comes to the H Priv line. The H Priv 2 and the TFV12 Big Baby Prince tank atomizer comes in 9 different matching color options.

You can get the whole kit in black, red, purple, green, pink, prism blue, prism gold, prism chrome and prism rainbow. Just like the old H Priv, the H Priv 2 still has the fire bar on the side and an OLED screen display on the top of the mod. The lateral up and down buttons are placed just right below the screen for easy adjustments.

On the bottom of the device is a battery sliding door with venting holes that houses two 18650 batteries to power the 225-watt maximum output capability of the H Priv 2. There is a micro USB port below the fire bar to charge the device and for firmware upgrade.

Like all Smok products, the Smok H Priv 2 is equipped with multiple protections to ensure your safety while vaping. It has a 10 seconds cut off, short circuit, over-heating and low voltage protection. It also has an intelligent atomizer recognition that automatically detects the changes in your coil resistance and a puff monitoring system.

The TFV12 Big Baby Prince is a 24.5 mm tank atomizer and is primarily made of stainless steel. It comes with the cobra resin drip tip to match the overall design of the mod and uses a bulb shape glass tube that can hold up to 6 ml of e-liquid.

It also comes with two V8 Baby Core coil heads and features an easy top fill design with a locking mechanism and dual adjustable airflow. If you think the build quality of the kit can’t get any better, Smok didn’t skimp out the included USB cable as well.

The cable included is made of a durable material, fully covered with a protective coat to ensure longevity and high flexibility. The two ends of the cable also have specially designed springs to avoid damage to it when being used.

Vapor Quality

The Smok H Priv 2 kit comes with two TFV8 Baby Beast coil heads. Pre-installed is the V8 Baby Q4 quadruple coil which is 0.6 ohm and is rated to use between 30 watts to 65 watts. This coil is perfect for the vapers who want pure flavor and denser vapor.

The other included coil head is the V8 Baby T12 which is a 0.15 ohm duodecuple coil, rated to use between 50 watts to 90 watts. This coil head is perfect for those who want those massive clouds. The TFV12 Big Baby Prince tank features a dual adjustable airflow control to further personalize your vaping experience.

You can set the airflow control to the minimum to get a tight and restrictive lung hit which is perfect for the new vapers who are still looking for that type of drag, and you can set it as open as it can be for an airy drag which can also help produce more vapor.

Versatility

Versatility

The H Priv 2 mod has a max output of 225 watts, giving you plenty of power to use any kind of build or coil head. The H Priv 2 can also accommodate any atomizer size from 25 mm and below, so if you want to use a different atomizer, you will have no problems with the H Priv 2.

The H Priv 2 also has a temperature control mode if you want to use temperature compatible coils for that enhanced flavor and consistency that advanced vapers love.

Portability

Portability

The H Priv 2 mod is barely larger than a credit card in height and width but is 27 mm thick and weighs 165 grams. With the TFV12 Big Baby Prince tank installed, it adds another 55 mm in height.

It is not the most portable vaporizer on the market but it can still fit in your pocket, although, it will feel a little bulky if you do so.

One good thing though is if you’re outside and you forgot to bring extra 18650 batteries, as long as you have access to a USB powered port, you will be able to charge the H Priv 2 anywhere.

It’s not all about aesthetics though, the performance and features of the Smok H Priv 2 and the TFV12 Big Baby Prince are perfect for those who are looking for a high quality and satisfying vape experience that you can’t get from any mods.
