Looking at the Smok Resa Stick, you will be entranced by its unique design. The whole body of the Resa Stick and the Resa Baby tank has this cobra skin pattern that makes the whole mod look wild and powerful. The looks alone lets you know that Smok really puts their mind to all of its devices’ design.

The Resa Stick is built from a premium zinc alloy and they offer 9 different color options for this kit to cater everyone’s preference. The Resa Stick and the Resa Baby tank atomizer comes in a matching black, yellow, purple, green, blue, red, pink, white and 7-color or rainbow.

The Resa Stick has no LED screen display and only has one button for firing and for turning the device on or off by simply pressing the button 5 times. Even though it has no screen display, it has a LED indicator around the fire button that tells you everything you need to know.

The led indicator around the button will flash 4 times when taking a drag and 15 times when the battery voltage is lower than 3.3 volts. There is also a USB port on the upper part of the mod to charge the 2000 mah built-in battery. The Resa Stick comes with all sorts of protection to make sure you vape safely all the time. It has an 8 second cutoff feature, a short circuit protection, low resistance and low voltage protection.

The Resa Baby tank atomizer is a 25.5 mm tank and is primarily made of stainless steel. It comes with the cobra resin 810 drip tip to match the overall design of the mod and uses a bulb glass tube that can hold up to 7.5 ml of e liquid, which makes it one of the largest capacity tanks on the market right now. It also comes with two V8 Baby Core coil heads and features an easy top fill design and dual adjustable airflow.

Vapor Quality

The Smok Resa Stick starter kit comes with 2 coil heads that are both included in Smok’s V8 Baby Core lineup. The pre-installed coil head is the V8 Baby mesh Core which has a resistance of 0.15 ohms and is rated to use between 40 watts to 80 watts. This coil head introduces the use of a mesh coil which effectively enlarges the heating area for a fast heating process and huge vapor production.

This coil head is perfect for those who want to chuck vapors all day. The other included coil head is a dual coil called the V8 Baby M2. It has a resistance of 0.25 ohms and is perfect for those who want a perfect balance of flavor and vapor.

Even though the Resa Stick is not a variable mod and these coil heads have different resistances, you really don’t need to worry about that since the Resa Stick will automatically set the output wattage depending on the resistance of the coil you are using and how much charge is left on the battery.

It will always fire at the best possible wattage to give you that nice vapor you want. If you have it fully charged, it is going to hit at the best possible wattage and will go down as the battery drains.

Versatility

Versatility

The Resa Stick mod is 25 mm in diameter so you will be able to use any atomizer you want from 25 mm and below and it will always sit flush. The 810 drip tip is also removable so you will be able to use your fancier 810 drip tips. It is unfortunate that the battery is not removable as the 2000 mah battery capacity might be too small for some vapers, but it is actually more than enough for casual vapers and will last you a whole day.

If you are a chain vaper though, the battery wouldn’t last you even half a day, but since it has a pass-through feature, you can use the mod even while charging. You can fill the tank with 7.5 ml worth of e-liquid so it is perfect for when you are outside as you don’t need to refill your tank every now and then.

Portability

Portability

The Smok Resa Stick is barely larger than a pen in height and only has a diameter of 25 mm. Thanks to its vape pen-style body, it is a very pocket-friendly device and you can store it easily as well.

The Resa Stick has a micro USB port for charging so as long as you have access to a USB powered port, you can charge the mod anywhere.

Conclusion

The Smok Resa Stick is a very good starter kit for newbies and long-time vapers alike. New vapers will benefit from its ease of use and simplicity, making it easier for them to transition into the world of vaping. Long-time vapers will surely love the portability and ergonomics aspect of the mod.

It is a perfect grab and go device and it doesn’t lack in flavor and vapor production even though it is not a variable wattage mod. And lastly, the design of the Resa Stick alone makes the mod look so premium, you won’t be able to tell at first glance that it is a starter mod which is a big plus for me.

I purchased my Smok Resa stick hmmm 3 months ago and already can’t get it to fire or flash a light?
I did in the beginning but as time went on it gradually faded out to no light at all. A light when charging but not using it since I can’t get it to fire. However when hooked up to USB port a red light will come on for a short time but then it goes out and does not fire???
Could you try and explain this problem since it’s like brand new due to problems in the short lived life it’s had.
    Thanks!
