Smok is back with another starter kit that caters to the newbies who just want a very simple and easy to use vaporizer that can help them transition into the world of vaping easier, the Smok Stick Prince Baby kit. If you know Smok or somewhat familiar with their naming scheme, the “baby” corresponds to a smaller and more compact device that is already existing in their lineup. Build Quality

The Smok Stick Prince Baby is almost identical to the original Stick Prince except for the size. The design didn’t change as it still has that exquisite and premium look that we love about the original Stick Prince. The mod is still made of premium zinc alloy and is now available in 10 different color options.

You can get it in red, pink, blue, gold, purple, green, stainless steel, gun metal, black, and rainbow. This mod still has no screen display and Smok retained the hexagon shaped power button that has a led indicator. Turning the device on or off is still as simple as pressing the button 5 times and the LED indicator will tell you everything you need to know about the device status.

It will flash 4 times when taking a puff and 15 times when the battery voltage is lower than 3.3 volts. The Stick Prince Baby has a non-removable and smaller battery capacity of 2000 mah instead of 3000 mah which is understandable since Smok wants to make it more compact.

The micro USB port to charge the device is perfectly placed on the back so you can charge it while placing the device upright. The included atomizer in the kit is the TFV12 Baby Prince Tank atomizer and if you are familiar with its performance, it is one of the best tank atomizers Smok has ever made.

It is made of stainless steel and comes with their 510 cobra drip tip. The TFV12 Baby Prince can now be filled up with 4.5 ml of e liquid instead of 3 ml thanks to its new bulb glass tube.

Vapor Quality

The Smok Stick Prince Baby kit comes with two V8 Baby Beast coil heads. Pre-installed is the V8 Baby Mesh that has a resistance of 0.15 ohm and is rated to use between 40 watts to 80 watts. This coil head is perfect for the cloud chasers out there who want to chuck clouds all day like a fog machine due to its super low resistance.

The other included coil head is the V8 Baby M2 that has a resistance of 0.25 ohm. This coil head is perfect for those who still want those dense and massive clouds but prefer a more flavorful vaping experience. This coil head is the more balanced in terms of flavor and vapor production.

The TFV12 Baby Prince tank also features dual adjustable airflow control to further personalize your vaping experience. You can set the airflow control to the minimum to get a tight and restrictive lung hit which is perfect for the new vapers who are still looking for that cigarette type of drag, and you can set it as open as it can be for an airy drag which can also help produce more vapor.

Smok Stick Prince Baby kit atomizers

One of the things Smok Stick Prince Baby lost now that it is more compact is its compatibility with other atomizers. The diameter of the mod is 22 mm so it will only fit atomizers that are that size and I believe 22 mm is the smallest on the market right now.

The Baby Prince tank can only use 510 drip tips so you won’t be able to use your fancy 810 drip tips but on the good side, it has a bigger e liquid capacity so you won’t be needing to refill it every now and then. The 2000 mah battery capacity is still fairly large for a device as compact as this so you really didn’t lose much in terms of battery life.

As a compact tube mod, the Smok Stick Prince Baby is one of the most portable devices on the market right now. Even with the Baby Prince tank installed, it is only 133.7 mm in height, 22 mm in mod diameter and 26 mm on the top end because of the bulb glass.

It is very easy to carry or store in a bag when traveling, and you can charge it anywhere without the need of carrying a bulky external battery charger.

Smok Stick Prince Baby kit tank

Smok seems to have found the perfect formula for making a powerful but very easy to use device that can cater to both the newbies and the advanced vapers alike. It’s not just the performance that is impressive, the build quality and the design which is simple yet elegant is also top notch for this type of starter device. In my opinion, the Smok Stick Prince Baby kit is definitely one of the best starter kits on the market right now.

Kevin is a serious vapehead. Most will say he came out of his mother’s womb holding onto a vape pen, but his real friends know the truth; that he was actually born with a triple 21700 mechanical box setup in hand and has been chucking clouds ever since then. On his free time, he also enjoys trying every MMORPG he sees, pwning noobs on R6 Siege and out hacking cheaters on Battlefield 1.

After 4 years of vaping, I purchased the SMOK Prince Baby in August 2018, so I wouldn’t have to drive 30 miles or order coils for my Aero tank 2 from New York. I know some people make the most out of their vape pieces, which is great,I don’t (regular vape shop batteries and tanks worked wonders for me)!
That said, I ABSOLUTELY HATE the Smok Prince Baby!!!!! The darn thing leaks ALL OVER-what I saved in travel, or shipping for coils, I lost in more juice, stained laundry and a wrecked purse!!!! I’ve had several instances where I’ve been burned by the liquid spewing out of the air valve onto my hands – I can’t even pet my cat because the crap is all over my hands!!! I know of some people that have solved the problem of the excessive leak…..and I’m so open to any suggestions….otherwise, I’ll wait until Christmas to get a new piece and toss this one. If I hadn’t had my last cigarette in March of 2014, this device surely would’ve made me a smoker again!
