The Sticky Brick Runt is the successor of the Sticky Brick Original and the Sticky Brick Junior, and it incorporates elements from both to bring you a high-quality vaping experience. It’s using the same convection-style heating method that made its predecessors tick. If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. I like this unit a lot, but I can’t deny the fact that analog vapes are less convenient than electronic vapes. Regardless, this is a breathtaking unit. It’s obvious that a lot of time and thought went into the Sticky Brick Runt’s design, and you have to appreciate the premium quality that the wood and glass bring to the unit.

If you’re looking to explore all your vaporizer options available, we have the Vapesterdam Vaporizer Ranking Chart here to help illuminate all the vaporizer choices available to you.

Sticky Brick Runt Review: Breakdown

Build Quality

Build Quality

The Runt’s build quality is one of its best features. What should I praise first? Should I rave about the beautiful woodwork, the high-quality glass pieces, or the premium-feeling magnetic connections?

No vaporizer is perfect, but in terms of build quality, Sticky Brick is getting scarily close. I don’t see anything I’d improve about this unit’s physical build.

Vapor Quality

The Sticky Brick Runt’s vapor quality is truly hard to beat. This little unit produces more vapor than you’d expect.

Seriously, this thing hits hard. Luckily, even hard-hitting puffs are enjoyable thanks to Sticky Brick’s ingenious design.

They used glass to make the mouthpiece and the air path. Because glass doesn’t alter your vapor’s flavor, the Runt manages to deliver respectable amounts of pure, tasty vapor.

look-and-feel

Look and Feel

This might be the classiest vaporizer I’ve ever seen. Could the woodwork possibly look better? If it wasn’t great enough, Sticky Brick even gives you three wood patterns to choose from: Cherry, Maple, and Walnut. Maple is my personal favorite, but I’d be extremely happy to use this vape with any finish.

Additionally, this vaporizer feels as well-built as it looks. It even features magnetic connections, so all of your parts kind of just snap into place. What can I say? The Sticky Brick Runt provides a luxurious vaping experience.

Discreetness

Difficulty

The Sticky Brick Runt isn’t “hard” to use perse, but it simply isn’t as easy to use as an electronic vaporizer. You’ll figure it out pretty quickly, but there’s a learning curve. To use the Runt, you’ll first need to load your chamber.

The chamber is located beneath the glass intake tube. Once you’ve removed this block, you can proceed to load your Runt. Once your chamber is loaded, replace the glass intake tube. Next, you’ll need your butane torch.

Adjust your flame so that it’s about an inch long and aim it at the curved portion of the heat intake tube. After a second or two, start pulling air from the glass mouthpiece. You should be vaping! If the vapor production drops off, just stir your bowl and try again.

Portability

As much as I like this vaporizer, portability isn’t its strong point. This vaporizer is already kind of big, but all of the protruding glass makes it genuinely impossible to comfortably take this anywhere.

Plus, using it requires a butane torch, which is just another piece of equipment to carry around. For the best portable experience, we suggest the Zeus Arc.

This isn’t a vaporizer that makes vapor at the press of a button. You need an open flame to use this device, which eliminates a lot of “on-the-go” possibilities right off the bat.

Portability

Discreetness

I see the Sticky Brick Runt as more of an at-home device, but I really can’t imagine using it out and about.

It looks awesome when it’s just sitting on a table, but it doesn’t take long to comprehend how awkward this vape can be. Put in the simplest terms, this is a wooden box with a couple of pieces of glass sticking out.

Try to be discreet while holding this thing. It’s impossible. No, this device isn’t discreet. It’s an awesome vaporizer, but it’s far from being low-profile.

Conclusion

The Sticky Brick Runt is an awesome little vaporizer, and it has its own unique strengths and weaknesses. The Runt excels when it comes to vapor production and quality. It performs like a beast, looking ridiculously premium all the while. The glass air path and mouthpiece make these flavorful hits possible, and that’s really what we expect from this vaporizer.

It does its job by delivering delicious, flavorful hits every time. The Runt kind of drops the ball when it comes to portability and discreetness. You can’t expect a block of wood with a glass stem to “blend in” anywhere. It attracts eyes and begs for attention. That really isn’t even a complaint, I just don’t see myself leaving the house with this vape. It isn’t a good portable vaporizer, but it’s the perfect at-home vaporizer for a lot of people. If you are looking for a perfect match for a portable unit we suggest checking out the Utillian 721.
