The vape trend is leaning towards the super compact and portable devices as pod style vaporizers flood the market and will most likely dominate it in the near future. The Suorin Air is super thin and light but the flavor and vapor it can produce are superb. It has a class-leading design and is actually constructed by an elite manufacturer of electronics, Foxconn, which is the same company responsible for Apple products.

Suorin Air Review: Breakdown

The Suorin Air, just like the Suorin Drop, doesn’t want to be a basic pod style vaporizer in terms of the design. While most pod systems go for the USB flash drive design approach, the Suorin Air went for a wide and flat, but thin and ergonomic shape and design.

The Suorin Air might look like a standard credit card but there is something more to it that really catches the eye. The Suorin Air has a luxurious air to it (no pun intended), and at the first glance, you can instantly tell that it is not cheaply made. The Suorin Air is a 2-piece device consisting of the main body and the pod. The body is made out of a premium zinc alloy which houses the built-in battery and the micro USB port. It also has an on/off switch on the side as well as a LED battery status indicator on the bottom. The pod is comprised of the tank that can hold 2 ml of e liquid, as well as the micro coil build.

It is made out of a food-grade polyethylene terephthalate glycol or PETG and it is refillable. It is pretty much a standard setup for a pod system but what sets it apart from other pod devices is its quality construction. From the feel of the body to the different finishes available, everything is well made and this is due to the fact that it was manufactured by Foxconn, the same company who’s been manufacturing Apple products so the quality is very well guaranteed.

Like most pod systems, the Suorin Air is one of the easiest to use devices on the market. The pods have magnetic contacts and once you filled it with your favorite e liquid, just pop it in, turn the device on using the switch and start vaping. The Suorin Air features a draw activated firing mechanism which means it will automatically produce vapors when you take a drag off it. It perfectly simulates smoking a normal cigarette so it is a perfect first device for those who want to switch to vaping.

The Suorin Air comes with a pod that has a 1.2 ohm micro coil build inside. Most pod systems recommend using salt based e liquids and while you can surely get better results using one in the Suorin Air, any kind of e liquids can be actually used in the Suorin Air without sacrificing flavor and vapor production.

The Suorin Air’s pods are refillable and the benefit of being an open pod system is that you can use whatever e liquid you want and the amount of nicotine you prefer compared to the closed pod systems that are limited in their pre-filled pod offerings.

The Suorin Air is supposed to be a mouth to lung style vaping device and while it is still true for the most part, vaping on it feels like the airflow is a lot looser than most pod style devices I have tried.

The good thing with its more open airflow is that you can definitely chuck more clouds while still getting the same amount of flavor.

Versatility

Versatility

The Suorin Air, just like most pod systems in the market has a fixed wattage output which means you can’t adjust its power. While this can be a deal-breaker for some, you can’t really expect much from a pod system since it promotes low power vaping for it only has a small battery and a high resistance coil build.

The cool thing about the Suorin Air is that they give the users freedom when it comes to e liquids and even though its refillable pods are disposable, you can use it for up to 5 to 6 refills before the coil and cotton go bad.

Portability

Portability

The Suorin Air is only 86mm in height, 43mm in length and 8mm in width. It is undeniably one of the thinnest vaporizers on the market and it is actually smaller than a credit card.

It is actually so thin and light that you can even forget it is in your pocket. It also has a micro USB port so charging it won’t be a problem since you can use any USB charging cable, perfect for when you are out and about.

Conclusion

If you are looking for a pod style vaporizer that has all basic features and comes with a refillable pod and a unique design, the Suorin Air is hard to pass up. But, we also suggest taking a look at the JWELL La Carte if you are in the market for a good refillable pod vape or even the Bo One if you are curious about prefilled units.
