The Vaporesso Cascade One is made of a premium alloy and is available in 6 different color options. You can get the Cascade One in silver, blue, black, gold, purple and rainbow. The form and design of the Cascade One are very familiar as Vaporesso wants this to be a starter device. The Cascade One is just a simple tube mod, and I honestly like the simplicity of the design.

There are a lot of mods on the market right now and sometimes, big companies forgot that some people like it simple. Tube mods are popular because they are more compact and ergonomic than most mods. There are no adjustment buttons on the Cascade One and there is no LED display screen. There is only a fire button which also serves as the on and off button.

There is a LED light indicator around the fire button that indicates how much power is left on the built-in battery that has 1800 mah capacity. There is a micro USB port on the back of the mod and Vaporesso claims that it only takes an hour to fully charge the Cascade One due to its 2A quick charge system.

The Vaporesso Cascade One is powered by the Omni Board Mini which features the awesome fast firing responsiveness that many people love and the smart atomizer identification which automatically detects the changes in your atomizer’s coils. As one of the most advanced regulated chip to be made, it also has multiple safety features to ensure that not only it provides high performance but also safety for all the vapers like short-circuit, low-voltage, over-temperature and low power protection.

The included tank in the kit is the Cascade Mini atomizer. It is primarily made of stainless and is 22 mm in diameter. Just like the original Cascade tank, it also has triple adjustable airflow and the split chamber design where the tank and the coil chamber are separate, which reduces dry hits and extends the life of the coils.

The Cascade One kit comes with two coil heads, the GT Mesh coil, and the GT CCELL2 coil. The GT Mesh coil has a resistance of 0.18 ohm and is rated to use between 50 watts to 90 watts. Like the name implies, it uses a special mesh coil that helps with the enlargement of the heating area and increases the contact with the cotton, which helps spread heat more evenly and rapidly for a better vaping experience.

The GT Mesh coil is perfect for those who want thick and dense clouds with great flavor. The GT CCELL2 coil, on the other hand, has a resistance of 0.3 ohm and is rated to use between 35 watts to 40 watts. The GT CCELL2 coil head features an innovative porous ceramic coil inside that can deliver the purest flavor of your e-liquid compared to the normal coil heads which use cotton wicks.

Compared to other coil heads, the GT CCELL2 coil can handle higher temperatures and won’t easily burn the e-liquid which other normal coil head does. The GT CCELL2 coil is perfect for those who are looking for intense flavors out of their e liquids.

Versatility

Versatility

The only gripe I have with the Cascade One is the battery capacity of 1800 mah. The coils included are sub ohm coils and you will be using a lot of power for those coils so you can’t expect the battery to last a whole day.

The battery is also not removable so you will be forced to charge the device when needed. The Cascade Mini tank uses a 510 drip tip and is not compatible with 810 drip tips.

Portability

Portability

The thing I like the most about the Cascade One is how portable it is. Just like any tube style mods, the Cascade One is one of the most portable devices on the market.

It is only 121 mm in height and 22 mm in diameter so you won’t have any problems carrying it around.

Conclusion

The Vaporesso Cascade One is a good starter kit for the new vapers and even the longtime vapers who are looking for an affordable and simple to use vape mod that performs well and will satisfy their vaping needs. The Cascade One is a very compact and portable device which is perfect for a grab and go device. The Cascade Mini tank produces a super dense and flavorful vape that is comparable to most dripper atomizers, which you won’t see on most sub ohm tanks on the market.
